For creative Lana Wilman, home isn’t just where she lives. It’s also where she works.
As a content creator of over a decade and the founder of talent agency Aphrodite, Lana’s architectural Surrey home is her office space, her moodboard, her creative hub and her sanctuary. Shared with fiancee Drew and dog Odie, inspiration is everywhere you look.
“I would describe it as colorful, maximalist and fun,” Lana says of her interior style. If you’re one of her many followers, you’ll no doubt recognize her bright Mustard couch (fitting!), tiger print rug, or the sleek glass facade that lets sunlight stream into the lounge. But it’s not all about form – with so much happening under one roof, functionality is key. Enter Mustard lockers, the perfect pairing for this bold, playful space.

The Clash
With its clean lines and smooth surfaces, Lana’s home is the ideal playground for a color enthusiast. Tactile concrete walls and floors let the furnishings do the talking, while glass and stainless steel are warmed up with timber accents. “I am a big fan of clashing color,” Lana tells us, “so I usually just continue adding pieces of different colors and they all somehow seem to make sense together in the end.” That said, there is one color that reigns supreme in Lana’s world. A pair of Skinnys in Berry might give it away – “I'm always a fan of a pop of pink!”

It’s Personal
Personal touches are everywhere in Lana’s home. From framed film posters to portraits of French Bulldog Odie, this is a space that’s as intentional as it is inventive. So it’s no surprise that when we ask Lana for her interior styling tips, she says “choose pieces that make YOU happy, rather than something you have seen online or think will look cool. My favorite homes are the ones where you can really tell someone’s personality, from their trinkets to photos to their choices in color and prints.”

Color Confident
Speaking of color, it’s the main character in this home. With surprising color combinations bringing a sense of joy and playfulness to every room – like pairing the Mustard couch with a Chartreuse rug – we asked Lana how she landed on combinations that work so well. As it turns out, there’s no formula. “I just go for it! I feel like whenever I make home choices it's based on what will make me happy. I love fun pieces and I feel like they 'work' because I'm confident in choosing them and putting spaces together.”

The Art of Living
Home is where the heart is, but in this space, it’s also where the art is. Like a gallery, the artwork choices in Lana’s home add personality to a space that’s already bursting with it.

Work Life
“I do almost all of my work at home,” Lana says, “from creating content inside it to running Aphrodite the Agency here. I am a big believer in aiming for a work life balance. When I am in my home office I feel like I'm in agency mode, whereas when I'm out of it I focus more on the content side of things.”
Anchoring the space is a Collector in Olive. “I use it to store SO much! From gifts for upcoming birthdays and holidays to my hosting bits and pieces, it's multi purpose and I love it.” Other than a locker, Lana says her office essentials include “a good chunky desk, a comfy chair and fun art to make the space homey.”

Watch This Space
Now that they’ve celebrated their first year in the house, Lana says there is one project they’re itching to get stuck into. “A big goal is our kitchen! I have so many plans in mind.” But, they’ll have to wait until another big project comes to fruition first. “It'll be something we work on after our wedding,” says Lana.
With wedding content and a kitchen revamp to look forward to, we’ll be staying tuned!
