5 creators to follow for home refresh inspiration
If the thought of deep-cleaning your home, reorganizing your cupboards or doing a pantry restock makes you shudder (and not in a good way), allow us to introduce you to Team Mustard's latest obsession: Cleantok.
Yep, for some of the internet's most popular creators, the 'Sunday scaries' have been replaced by the 'Sunday reset.' For the uninitiated, it's a weekly home refresh that sees these creators clean and tidy the week away in short videos that are surprisingly soothing to watch. Maybe it's the ASMR sounds or the satisfying speed (if only we could do it that fast in real life!) – whatever the reason, the internet is obsessed. Oh, and so are we! After all, we're here to make life more tidy. If you could do with a hit of midweek motivation or the aesthetically pleasing inspiration to finally dust your bookshelves, here's where to find it.
Jack | @jack.designs
With over a million followers on both Instagram and TikTok, Jack Callaghan's famous Sunday reset videos are the ultimate cleaning catnip. If you weren't already dust-mopping your ceiling (er, we totally were, definitely…) you might just be inspired to start after watching one of Jack's videos!
Eric | @im_ericwang
Homebodies, prepare to feel seen! Eric Wang's cleaning and tidying content is as soothing and comforting as a soft, cozy blanket. From the beautiful ambient lighting to the thoughtful, considered layout of Eric's San Francisco apartment, be warned: these videos will make you want to stay in. Once you've cleaned the house, of course.
Gabbi | @gabbidei
For color lovers, Australian creator Gabbi Dei adds a splash of color to her apartment with pink-hued lamps, patterned linens and bright decor pieces. If you have a skincare or makeup drawer in need of a reset, you'll love Gabbi's bathroom and beauty declutters. From cocktails to coffee books, her aesthetic is clean, colorful and feminine. Dreamy!
Paulien | @itsonthethirdfloor
From her home on the third floor of a sunny apartment building in Brussels, Paulien De Clerq combines a love of vintage and thrifted furniture with DIY activities, art, and of course – decluttering! For organization and home reset inspo with a European view, look no further.
Luis | @donborsch
If you've ever wanted to watch someone skateboard through their LA apartment while carrying an enormous bunch of flowers, you're in luck! Too niche? Luis Arturo Sanchez will also inspire you to declutter, redecorate, and preset (it's like a home reset, done before you go away on a trip.) Tidying never looked so cool.
